Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to build and enhance software solutions.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Develop and maintain APIs, integrate with third-party services, and optimise database performance.
- Test, refine, and document software to ensure it meets the highest standards of performance and quality.
- Research, design, and implement innovative solutions to meet client and product needs.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in software engineering and technology to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide support in the onboarding and implementation of new clients.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Programming Experience: Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Go, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Fundamentals: Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and software design patterns.
- Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
- Front-end Development: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development frameworks like ReactJs.
- API and Web Development: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively in team settings and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Good To Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with frameworks like ReactJS, Node.js, or relevant frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud technologies, particularly AWS, Azure, or other platforms.
- Interest in DevOps tools and practices (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Understanding of data integration systems or ETL tools.
- Prior internship experience or coding projects (e.g., GitHub portfolio).
Additional Information:
- Mandatory 7 months internship with Peak, starting from January 2025 with a PPO.
- Working model: During the internship, 4 days a week will be office-based. After the internship, it will transition to 3 days a week from the office.
