What you’ll do

  1. Design requirements on small systems or modules of medium systems (large scale) environment and technical documentation.
  2. Apply basic principles of software engineering and follow instructions.
  3. Provide meaningful feedback on the release process, code review, and design review.
  4. Easily absorb and apply new information.
  5. Display a cooperative attitude and share knowledge.
  6. Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.)
  7. Work across teams to integrate our systems with existing corporate product platforms
  8. Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to turn business requirements and vision into reality.
  9. Participate in a tight-knit engineering team employing agile software development practices.
  10. Leverage automation within scope of effort

What experience you need

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  2. 1+ years experience with  Java software programming experience
  3. Knowledge of Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure

What could set you apart

  1. Self-starter that identifies/responds to priority shifts with minimal supervision
  2. UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Angular and Bootstrap)
  3. Experience with backend technologies such as JAVA/J2EE, SpringBoot, SOA and Microservices 
  4. Source code control management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, Github) and build tools like Maven & Gradle.
  5. Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP)
  6. Relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL)
  7. Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Github)
  8. Developing with modern JDK (v1.7+)
  9. Automated Testing: JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI
